Who is Dev

I was born in Botswana and did my growing up right here in Ward 11. These are the streets where I chalked the sidewalks, played soccer, ran around playing cops and robbers.

I studied political science at McMaster and I am now pursuing a master's in public administration in the UK. I have also worked inside government as a political staffer, which showed me the ceiling on what you can do for people when you answer to someone else.

I am running because Ward 11 is home and my neighbours are family, not constituents. I want the full power to show up for this community the way it deserves.

Youth Jobs and Opportunity

Young people leave the ward to start careers while local businesses drown in red tape. The Mississauga Works Plan turns the city's own purchasing power into local jobs at zero cost to taxpayers.

Fair Investment for Every Neighbourhood

Streetsville's historic core gets the funding while Meadowvale and Levi Creek wait. Dev will push to direct a guaranteed share of the ward's infrastructure dollars to the neighbourhoods that have been overlooked.

Safer Streets and Better Transit

Residential streets are used as speeding shortcuts and many families cannot rely on transit outside work hours. Traffic calming, better policing coordination and improved MiWay service.
